F-150 Brake Failure Background
In 2016, Ford Motor Company issued a recall regarding brake failure in 2013 and 2014 Ford F-150 models equipped with the 3.5L Ecoboost engine.  Also in 2016, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) announced that it was conducting an investigation into consumer complaints of brake failures in 2015 and 2016 Ford F-150 models. However, no further action has been taken to address this dangerous issue.
